they sell cans of water repellant and make sure you get all of the seams very good. i put it on the seams twice to make sure. and 1 time on the tent sides and top a couple times a season.

We have the old style with the new style hinges, they are very easy to clean the junk out of them. We just went threw a major hails storm the other day and the vents made it threw in one piece. Had to replace the fridge vent and the a/c vent got a small crack in it. does any one know if they make max covers for the a/c units?

We have owned 2 different Keystones the 1st one a Outback 26rks tt and now a Cougar 292rks fifth wheel have had good luck with both of them.

Thanks for all the replies. Can't wait to use it again. I got the 6 foot adapter and use a 20# tank, seen some people were having problems using a big tank, ours worked great.

We have a 2008 Cougar fifth wheel and the 1st time we used the black tank flush it ran all over the bedroom and down through the floor. Took it in today for the 1st time to get some work done to it.

Weber Q100 gas grll
We just bought a weber q100 gas grill, and I was wondering if that is the same grill as the baby q? What are the differences ect. We used ours for the first time this past weekend and wish we would of bought it a few years ago. Tried to go cheap and replaces 2 grills in 3 years.

RE: Bug Repellent? What is everyone using?
We tried the amber colored listerine and it did seem to help a little. We sprayed a fine mist on screen door and around the doorway. We also put some down on the graound araound the chairs and we did not have many bugging us. Just be carefull and don't get it on any wood surfaces, may damage them. We tried the green listerine but the amber worked better.
Just my 2 cents worth of info.

Thanks for all the replies.:) After these batteries die I will switch over to 2 6's. We just brought the camper home on the 9th of may and we were loading up and just using the batteries and they were down to 1/2 after about hour and a half of just using the lights. 1 battery is brand new and the other is about a year old.

6v versus 12v batteries
why would 2 6 volt batteries last longer then the 12 volt. we have 2 12 volts in our 5ver. what am i missing here:h

Went back out to look at ours and I had to remove some drawers to find it. don't know why when there are 2 panels they could of used:h Thankfully my arms were long enough to reach it.

Look on the outside were the panel is, and you should be able to tell were it is at on the inside, we have the 292rks and it is by the oven.

We just went from a tt to a 5ver, It seems like we have 3 times the storage that we used to have because every thing went into the truck bed that didn't fit in the tt. Still have lots of room in bed with the hitch. Thought we were missing stuff because of extra room.

If it were me I would get it replaced. It helps with the air flow and also with the heated underbelly if yours has that. It also helps to protect the tanks and lines from getting bumped or hit by debre will driving.

We just installed 3 max air on our cougar and we found new brackets that have hindges on them. They are called MAXX BRACKETS. They sell for approx $14.99 per set. It is very easy to clean the covers and vents. It took us less then 30 min. to install. These are the same covers that we used on 2 other campers, thay are awesome and well worth the price for them. We get our new camper this friday and it has a hdtv in it, but not for the 2nd tv got our cards in the mail 2 weeks ago. Going to have to get one for the 2nd tv. I'm curious how the other tv will be. It is a Oliva 32" hdtv, never seen one of these before.
